FAQ

What is an Independent Facilitator?

An Independent Facilitator (IF) guides you through the Self-Determination Program, helps you build a Person-Centered Plan, and advocates for your choices in meetings.

Do I have to be in SDP already?

No. I help families understand the program, decide if it fits, and get organized for enrollment.

Can you attend Regional Center meetings?

Yes. I can prepare with you, attend, and keep the discussion person-centered and clear.

What happens in a Person-Centered Plan meeting?

We identify strengths, preferences, goals, and supports, then outline next steps that inform your spending plan.

Do you work virtually?

Yes. I serve Northern California families virtually and meet in-person when it helps.
